Coach Factory Store in Canada: No More Cross-Border Trips required

If you live close to the 49th parrallel, chances are you've made a run to the border. And not for Taco Bell, either. Everyone I know who shops outlet stores in the US comes back with something from Coach.
In recessionary times, Coach is one of the few boutiques where you can get an affordable, good quality handbag. Only problem is that you have to cross the border and pay customs on the way back, not to mention the fact that the exchange rate is not great for US shopping these days.
Well, wave goodbye to those scary border guards because there's a Coach Factory store in Niagara Falls. And yes, I mean Niagara Falls, Canada.
The outlet store has opened at the Canada One Outlets on Lundy's Lane.
Last time I went, I bought a leash for my puppy ($29). That price is even better than the no name leashes at the pet store across the street from my house.
The store gets packed because the prices are comparable to the US outlet prices but it's definitely worth the drive.

Canada One Factory Outlets are located at 7500 Lundy's Lane, Niagara Falls, ON L2H1G8
Regular store hours are Monday - Saturday 10 am - 9 pm and Sunday & holidays 10 am - 6 pm

Hautelook - Online Sales of Your Favourite Brands

Living in Canada, I was always envious when I heard about all the sample sales that happen in NYC or LA.
But now there's a website that offers some of those sample sales online, without all the cat fights and, best of all, there's shipping to Canada!
Hautelook is a private online sample sale that was started in December.
The site is by invitation only, but it offers exclusive brands at 50-75% discount. On top of that, you can earn a store credit of $10 when any of your sponsored guests make a purchase. Add to that the fact that there is a return policy and you really can't go wrong.
The site posts designer bios and each limited-time sale is counted down in real time until the item is sold out. Members also get e-mail alerts for upcoming sales.
Some recent sales have included Alice & Olivia, Mike & Chris and Ella Moss.
Tomorrow the site is hosting a Designer Blowout Sale with pieces by BCBG, DVF, Alice + Olivia, Robert Rodriguez (one of my faves) and more.
Get there quick because these sales sell out fast!

FCUK Yeah! One of My Favourite Stores is Having A Warehouse Sale!

Even if you're a label whore and prefer designer boutiques to mall chain stores, you still have to love FCUK. Every season I pick up a few pieces that last me well into the next year and I never fail to get complimented on them. I'm telling you, it never fails.
I love their stuff for both men and women so the fact that they're having their warehouse sale this weekend has got me pretty excited.

Where: 14 Advance Road,
Etobicoke, Ontario

When: April 29-May 2
Mon-Fri 10 am-7 pm
Sat-Sun 10 am- 6 pm

The Clothing Show Hits Toronto this coming weekend

If you've never been to The Clothing Show in Toronto, you don't know what you're missing.
The show, which happens twice a year will take place this weekend at the Better Living Centre at the CNE.
The show is Canada's largest vintage and new independent designer show. There are over 300 bootsh with a mix of cool clothing, accessories, sample sales and even new menswear and eco sections.
Prices can range from $5 to $2000 with some items at up to 90% retail while other, handmade exclusive items come with more exclusive price tags.
One of my favourite exhibitors is SOOS. Their jewelry is fantastic and worth every penny.
Admission to the show is $10 at the door or $8 online.
