Hermes sale update

So I spent two hours in line at the Hermes sale in Toronto this morning.

Prices for scarves are $175 for the small scarves or handkerchiefs and the 10x10 scarves are $200 each.

There's plenty of them so if you're headed there this afternoon, you should still be able to find something.

I bought a beautiful checkerboard scarf and some bathroom towels. Now I have to find orange accessories for my bathroom. I hope my boyfriend likes orange!

Not Couture but Who Cares?

I know this blog focuses on designer and luxe brands but here's a deal I had to pass on to you!

Old Navy is holding a flip-flop sale this Saturday (May 23). Flip flops are $1 a pair. No, that is not a typo. ONE dollar for a pair of flip flops. Limit is 5 pairs per person but I would get there fairly early. I have a feeling these are going to sell out pretty fast.

And who can't use a pair of flip flops to run out to the corner store (especially the morning after wearing stilettos all night) ... am I right?

Peep It: Great Art by Faboulous Artist

One of our favourite artists (and fellow recessionista) Natalie Lambert is holding an art exhibit at Friday, May 22nd 7-10pm, Barrio Lounge, 896 Queen East in Toronto!
There's an opening night reception on Friday May 22 but the art will be on display for a few weeks after that.
Our favourite piece is the "first word" painting, which Natalie custom made using the first words spoken by her gorgeous son Everett. Natalie custom makes the paintings for other moms too. Why didn't anyone else think of this? Brilliant!

EQ3 Outlet: Great Furniture / Better Prices

I love my EQ3 couch but I probably would have loved it more if I had gotten it on sale.

I was so excited when I heard about this outlet store in Toronto. I have been meaning to check it out for a while and now that the weather's better, I may have to take a stroll down to King Street for lunch one day.

I support a lot of Canadian websites but one of my favourites, if not my favourite, is SSense.com.

Montrealers will already know about the shop. The new location is at 90 St. Paul West, Old Montreal, but rest of Canada can also reap the benefits of this hot store through their website.

BCBG online sale

Matthew Williamson's summer collection is arriving at H&M this Thursday: May 14.

This time, expect tunics, bathing suits and bright fabrics. The pink studded belt from his spring collection is also available again.

The price point is also lower this time around so there are some great finds.

There's also a men's collection for summer so you definitely have to pick up something for your significant other.

Best thing about this sale is that it's in most stores (mens lines are still more limited) so there should be less lines and more stock.
